What Is Blobade?

Blobade throws you into a tropical free-for-all where pirates scramble for gold and glory. You spawn on an island alongside rival players, and your job is simple: grab treasure, grow stronger, and outlast everyone else. The shrinking play area keeps matches moving, so standing still for too long is rarely an option.

How to Play

Movement works with your mouse, the W/A/S/D keys, or arrow keys. To attack, click the left mouse button or press spacebar. Hold down the attack button to charge a dash strike, then release to lunge forward. On mobile, drag one finger to move and tap with a second finger to swing. Hold that second finger longer to charge up a focused dash attack.

Your pirate grows as you collect doubloons and eliminate opponents. Defeated rivals drop their loot, which you can scoop up to gain an edge. Pets add another layer: stand still and your companion restores health, giving you a reason to pick your hiding spots with care.

Tips for New Players

• Charge attacks catch runners off guard, but leave you open if you miss.
• Pets heal only when you stop moving, so plan retreats behind cover.
• The shrinking map forces fights late in the match—save some energy for the final scrap.
• Early gold collection matters more than early kills; a bigger pirate wins duels more often.
